Q: What are your hours of operation & baking times?
A: We are OPEN Monday to Saturday 11:00 AM to 9:00PM & CLOSED Every Sunday

We are OPEN on ONE Sunday a year: Santa Claus Parade.

Our Baking Times* are:
Walnut Cakes
11:30AM to 1:00PM for our Morning Baking
4:30PM to 5:30PM for our Evening Baking (Friday & Saturday only)

Korean Pancakes
11:30AM to 1:00PM for our Morning Session
3:00PM to 4:00PM for our Afternoon Session
5:30PM to 7:00PM for our Evening Session

*Baking Times may vary due to weather conditions & available stock.

Q: How should to store leftovers?
Walnut Cakes & Korean Pancakes can be kept in room temperature for 24 hours or refrigerated for a week or frozen for a month. We recommend placing them in plastic bags or plastic container once getting home, since they tend to dry out in our cardboard boxes & styrofoam containers.

Chun Byung do not need to be refrigerated or frozen they are best when kept in room temperature with the box tightly closed; not left in the sun or anywhere warm (since there are no additives or preservatives they will become soft if kept warm)

Madeleines can be refrigerated for to a week & or room temperature for 2-3 days.

Q: Do you have nut-free products or products with traces?
All our products contain nuts (walnuts, almonds and/or peanuts). There is either nuts or traces in our products. We do not recommend our products to patrons with severe allergies. Patrons with mild allergies may partake in our red bean sherbet, rice cake red bean sherbet or rice cake soybean powder almond sherbet (without the almonds).  Our Red Bean Pancakes have no nuts but contain traces of peanuts, since they are made on the same griddle as our Brown Sugar Pancakes that contain peanuts. We are able to make Walnut Cakes in either Mashed Potato or Red Bean filling without nuts but they will still contain traces of walnuts and almonds since they are made on the same cast iron moulds with a minimum order of 30 pieces and given a 24 hour order. There are no peanuts in our Walnut Cakes, but even with different staff members handling our products, different machines, proper training and thorough cleaning we still can not Guarantee 100% Peanut-Free.
Q: Do you have gluten-free products?
Unfortunately,  we do not have a gluten-free alternative for our products. Our production process is all made from scratch and we use Five Rose Wheat Flour in all our products. Only Gluten-Free product we serve is our sherbets, but since they are made in the same area as where our batter is made we ask patrons to be aware they may be traces of flour.
Q: Do you have vegetarian or vegan products?
We are 100% Vegetarian Friendly! Unfortunately, we are not vegan. All our batter and fillings are done on site from scratch & they contain eggs, milk and/or butter. There is no meat, gelatin or lard in any of products & the oil used is either our canola oil for our Korean Pancakes.
Q: Does Hodo Kwaja cater or deliver?
We ask customers to place orders at least 24 hours in advance before the needed date & time. A 24 hour notice is important to the preparation of the necessary ingredients for your order.
